  • Manage Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Jobs and CronJobs.
  • Monitor Pods, Nodes, namespaces, cluster resources and workload health.
  • Troubleshoot Pod crashes, failed deployments, networking issues and image-pull errors.
  • Configure resource requests, limits, autoscaling, readiness and liveness probes.
  • Perform rolling deployments, rollbacks and controlled production updates.
  • Maintain Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts.
  • Create, maintain and optimise Dockerfiles for Django, React and worker services.
  • Manage Docker image builds, versioning, registries and vulnerability scanning.

Django and React Deployment

  • Support Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ and scheduled background services.
  • Build and deploy React applications through Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Configure Nginx, frontend routing, caching, compression and environment-specific builds.
  • Troubleshoot CORS, API connectivity, build failures and configuration issues.

CI/CD and Automation

  • Design, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.

  • Automate code builds, testing, Docker image creation, security scanning and deployments.
  • Work with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines or similar tools.
  • Maintain separate workflows for development, staging and production environments.
  • Implement deployment approvals, rollback processes and release logs.
  • Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
  • Maintain infrastructure configurations and deployment templates in version control.

Cloud and Server Administration

  • Manage Linux-based cloud, virtual and dedicated servers.

  • Configure users, SSH access, permissions, packages, services and system resources.
  • Apply operating-system patches and security updates.
  • Configure firewalls, DNS records, ports, load balancers and network rules.
  • Manage infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, DigitalOcean, Hetzner or similar platforms.
  • Monitor CPU, memory, disk, network and application utilisation.
  • Troubleshoot server-level, network-level and application-level problems.

Monitoring, Security and Backups

  • Implement monitoring and logging for clusters, servers, APIs, applications and databases.

  • Use tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK Stack, OpenSearch, Datadog or New Relic.
  • Configure alerts for downtime, Pod failures, high resource usage, storage limitations and certificate expiry.
  • Maintain automated database, configuration and application backups.
  • Test restoration procedures and maintain disaster-recovery documentation.
  • Manage credentials, API keys, passwords, certificates and access tokens securely.
  • Implement Kubernetes RBAC, SSH key-based access and restricted production permissions.
  • Scan containers and dependencies for security vulnerabilities.
